The kids cornmeal fight!

Well yesterday, my best friend Shara got married! Congrats Shara and Jason! So it was a very busy day needless to say. She was a beautiful bride and had a beautiful wedding.

So after the reception we invited Ashley, Andre and Bennet to the house for dinner. Lil Miss Kendal was with her Nana! So after dinner, dessert and Andre helping Craig install his Christmas present, we were just hanging out in the kitchen. The next thing we know the kids had got the cornmeal out of the cabinet and was playing with it.

We thought it was harmless, they were just having fun.

Well FUN is defiantly what they had. Before we knew what was going on, the kitchen was a big cornmeal mess.

This all happened right in front of our face! Before we knew it we were being attacked by the lil monsters. Myself, Ashley, Craig, and Andre just sat back and laughed so hard.

We all had so much fun with very lil expense, just a bag of cornmeal, broom and a bath at midnite!!!! It really is amazing what you will let your children do just for fun!!!

Thanks, Ashley, Andre and Bennet for helping make one of the best kids memories!

Christmas 2007!

Well once again we had a wonderful Christmas. This year was such a blast, both the boys understood what was going on and really enjoyed tearing into the presents. We started out at Nana's house on Christmas Eve, this has been a family tradition for years. The whole family was there and LOTS of presents!!!!

This year was Skylar's and Bryson's first Christmas!!!

So we really enjoyed ourselves and watching the boys open all their presents. There are way too many pics to publish one by one so here is a slideshow!!!!!!

So the big hit for Riley and Hayden was the Thomas the Train track that Riley got from Nana and PaPaw. Of course as soon as we got home, at 11:00 pm, we had to put it together, which might I add was hard. But could we ever tell our kids no, I think not. So we put it together which took about 45 mins.

Well finally about 1:30 were torn them away kickin and scremin and took them to bed. We keep on telling Riley that he HAD to go to sleep before Santa would come. With all that being said, Riley finally woke up about 11:30 and they were ready to open our presents and of course the presents from Santa!

Well it looks like we had two lil boys at were good all year long...the stocking are even running over!
So the are ready to open them all, with a little bed head!
Santa brought Riley a "super cool workstation", "it's exactly what I needed" said Riley, haha...

Hayden got a Kitchen from Santa!!!! So he can "cook"
Then they had many many more presents to open, but here is a couple pics!

Now they are going to help Daddy open his presents!
Wow! Dad got a new under the cabinet radio/dvd player to replace the old radio in the kitchen! Look at Dad's face, I think he must have seen the sales ticket! Oops!
I just love this pic!

I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful New Year!

Meet Coach!!!

Well I want to introduce to you the newest member of the family, Coach! Coach is 7 weeks old and we picked him up today! MERRY CHRISTMAS MOMMA!!!! I was so excited, I love Boxer and was waiting on the day that we could get a puppy for the boys and me. The boys just absolutely love him. Hayden still calls him Puppy but Riley decided to name him Coach. It was a hard decision for him. He was stuck between Coach, Butch or Persy, name remember that his favorite cartoon is Thomas, now it all makes sense. No I didn't name our dog after my favorite purse!

Hayden's Baby!

So Hayden has decided that Adrienne's old baby doll is his "Baby". He has been carrying her around everywhere the past few days. He put her to bed at night. He got really upset at Craig the other night because Craig didn't wrap her up in her blanket the correct way...lol. Craig isn't crazy about the idea but I think that it is hilarious! When I get Hayden out of his bed of the morning he makes me change her diaper before I take his pull-up off him. He has even given her one of his old bottles.

Thanksgiving!

Well, again we enjoyed another holiday with the family. A very busy but fun filled weekend! On Thanksgiving Day we ate dinner at Mom's then on Friday we left for Virginia. After the long drive thru the mountains, we finally arrived in Hurley, VA. We had a wonderful visit. The boys and grandparents loved it! While we were there the boys got to see Mamaw Hurley's Christmas village (which is huge), they especially loved the new train track Papaw and Mamaw just added on. Clara's Village consist of approximately 250 houses, 500+ trees and 500+ accessories. WOW!!!!

The boys also enjoyed the "jumpoline", that is what Riley called the trampoline. Hayden was scared of it at first but Riley loved it. The boys were just exhausted from all the excitement, but can't wait to do it again.

Family Gatherings!

As most of you guys know, I lost my grandmother this past weekend. We were all very close to her and loved her dearly and we are glad that she has went on to a much better place. Granted, it has been very difficult for us but we have to look to the brighter side of things. It seems like the only time that you get the WHOLE family together is for funeral, sad to say but it is true! So we all enjoyed the time that we shared. Of course we try to laugh and goof of, to make the situation a little easier to deal with so, of course I have my camera handy to snap the shot.

Tyler is pimping in Craig's black hat. Isn't he a stud!

Look at that crazy eyeball in the background.

My family just LOVES Shara, can't you tell...lol

Those were all taken the night that we got home from receiving friends.....

These next couple are taken when we got home from the burial :(

Look at my handsome lil boy telling me which way to go.....

Hayden loves to fight! Momma and her lil man
Mrs. and Mr. Hurley!
The next several picture just explain the fact that I have farmers in training......

I am so proud of these lil guys!

So we turned a sad situation into a happy moment. We were lucky enough that Craig was able to take the whole day off, (for Craig this is almost impossible) and enjoy some little memory that he misses out on a daily basis.

My grandmother would have been 96, on December 9. She lived a long and wonderful life and now she is in better place, she doesn't have to suffer any longer. Just remember Mamaw that we love you, even those lil curly headed boys and we will see you one day. Love You!!!!!!!
