Thomas the Train

As I have mentioned in previous post, my sons LOVE Thomas the Train. They own almost all the trains and has approximately 100+ pieces of track. So Dad and I have mastered the ability to assembly random train tracks at any given time and any room of the house. Most of the time we have one in the playroom and the living room. Here is a picture I took the other night when Dad, Kristin, myself and they boys put one together in the living room floor.

Another Sunday evening get together!

We love to cook, entertain and invite our closest friend over to have a good time. We spend all morning cooking, cleaning and shopping to get those couple hours of laughs, giggles, and sometime even tears. Then by the time that everybody leaves with their extremely full bellies, the house is a wreck but all the memories are worth the clean up.

This Sunday we had Ashley, Andre, Bennet, Kendal, Kristin and Emma over to watch the race, even though Andre isn't a nascar fan! We hate homemade burgers, hot dogs, baked potatoes, mac-n-cheese and chips. Then the kids had Mickey Mouse hamburgers (that you can get in the frozen food section as your local Kroger's), hot dogs, ketchup, mac n cheese and chee-toos! Doesn't that sound delicious! Wait, we haven't got to the best part yet...DESSERT!!!! Which was a New York style cheesecake topped with strawberries and whipped toppings. YUM YUM!

When all the guest started arriving it was still daylight of course of the kids had the play outside and yes I said kids, just look at the pics and they tell the rest of the story!!!

So all in all I think EVERYBODY had a good time, What do you think?

Riley and Hayden's First trip to Wasabi's

Well, this past Saturday night we were doing some shopping in Knoxville, actually we were shopping for Craig a suit, yes you did read that correctly a suit. We will be attending a Masquerade Party at the end of this month and Craig still didn't have a suit, I had already purchased my gown, which is gorgeous, and our masks. So I decided that we should eat at Wasabi's, which Craig and I love to eat there, but hadn't taken the boys yet. So of course on our way there Hayden fell asleep. The parking lot was PACKED when we arrived so Craig went on in and put our name on the list, when he came back he said, "There is an hour wait, do you just want to leave and come back another night or do you want to stay." So we decided to wait, it would give Hayden time to get his nap in. So sure enough Hayden woke up about 15 minutes before our buzzer went off.
Riley was ready because he loves to help Daddy cook, so we had been telling him that the chef cooks right in front of us.

They LOVED the fire, even though is sorta of scared them!
Then Riley yelled "DO IT AGAIN"...lol, so the chef did! Then he told Riley to make sure he didn't try that at home, thank god he told him, or he would have.
Then the famous volcano....
Riley was just amazed with the fact that the chef could throw some rice balls in the air and it land in my mouth!
But then Daddy missed the first time!!!!!
Then he finally got it!
All Hayden could say was WOW!!!!

Needless to say, they had the time of their lives. As soon as we got them buckled in, Riley ask if we could got back tomorrow. They talked about it the rest of the night and told Nana all about it the next day. It is another priceless moments!!!
