Happy Mother's Day!!!

Well, I have to say I had a wonderful Mother's Day today, alot of laziness and pampering, but what's wrong with that. The boys made me breakfast this morning, then we helped Craig pack his bags, he is off to Raleigh, NC for the next week for training for work. So once he left, me and the boys headed to Mom. There we had a enormous lunch with the whole family. That was proceed by lazy time on the couch! Riley decided that he was going to go home with Angie, Luther, Tyler and Becca for some playtime at their house. So me, Hayden and Skyler headed to the house. I have a huge to do list that I made for myself to get done this week while Craig is gone, which includes a HUGE surprise for him, so the kiddos played in the living room while I tackled the boys bedroom! The typical wardrobe changes for the new season clothes, packing up out grown and winter clothes and then sorting out stuff for our yard sale. So our big surprise for Dad when he gets back home is that I am going to totally remodel the boys bedroom. Last week, I ordered some wall art from Carrie at Ella Minnow Pea, (which is the best thing that happened to Kingston), so now, of course, I have to redo their bedroom! So this week I will be painting, hammering and redesigning....pics will of course follow! SHHHHH! remember this is Craig's surprise!

Are they not awesome! If you haven't been in Ella Minnow Pea, you need to do so asap. So finally, the room is all ready for me to start the pre-painting tomorrow, then painting on Tuesday and probably Wednesday considering I will have two lil helpers!

So Riley decided that tonight, that he wanted to make me his special brownies for Mom's Day. So I let him, he keeps on telling me that he is going to take care of me and Hayden while Daddy is gone. You can tell that Craig is hardly ever away from us.

This is one of a million reasons that I love being a Momma!

We want to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day!

Hayden aka "My Dare Devil"

So after several months of Craig and Riley trying to teach Hayden how to drive the 4-wheeler on his on, he decided that today was the day and he was a pro! In fact, he is amazingly talented for his age in some of the thing he can and can not accomplish! So enjoy a couple of the videos I snapped while almost having a heart attack because Hayden isn't scared of anything and decided he was invincible like his Daddy, you can see how the camera drops about the time I think he is going to flip! That is just a motherly instinct, I guess I have ALOT more of those days in my future.

Happy 27th Birthday to ME!!!!!

So on Thursday, I celebrated my 27th birthday day, WOW, I never thought I would be this old...LOL.....but old is far away from how I feel. My amazing husband and wonderful lil boys keep me feeling young everyday!

I just to thank all my friends and family for a wonderful birthday. Thanks for all the e-mails, cards, phone calls and text messages wishing me a happy birthday. I would have to say that I had an AMAZING day! It started off by my wonderful husband taking off the first half of the day, which never happens might I add, to stay home and cook me a remarkable breakfast in bed (which he does every Sunday anyways) and to give me all my birthday goodies! Then he went to work at lunch, I spend the rest of the day with the rest my family, being lazy, shopping and just playing around outside.

Once we were finished with dinner at Nana's we had birthday cake and ice cream, which was top of Riley's To Do List!

Then we came home and Craig and I cuddled up and watched a movie. To top things off I turned my cellphone off that morning and didn't turn it back on till the next morning, so I don't see how it could have gotten much better than that. I guess this is a perfect example of why people say I am spoiled!!!

Then we make dinner plans with all of our friends in Knoxville for Saturday afternoon. We meet at Wasabi's for dinner, which was excellent like always! Then we moved on to Bailey's for a night out! A special thanks to Nana for watching the boys so Craig and I could enjoy a night out together without the kids. Which rarely ever happens (because I don't go very many places without my kids).

So once we arrived at Bailey's, my husband surprised me with a beautiful and delicious birthday cake for MagPie's, which is my favorite bakery!

This picture I just have to add on her because I laugh so hard every time I see it. This is what happens to Craig when he tries to tell me what to do!!!!! This is true in so many ways.

THANKS again for making me this lucky to have all of you guys as my precious friends!!!!! You guys made me who I am today!!!

P.S- Am I not the luckiest woman on the planet!!!!

Riley and Garfield

So as many of you guys know, Riley loves our cat Garfield. Not to mention that Garfield love the boys and any kid as a matter of fact. So every night when it is time to go to bed, Riley always makes sure that Garfield is in bed with him. So this morning I got up and found this! They always say a picture is worth a thousand words.

Now can't you tell that they love one another! When I took this picture, Garfield was asleep, I guess the flash woke him up.

Easter 2008

So Easter Sunday the boys woke up and automatically ask if the Easter bunny had left them an Easter basket. So I proceed to tell them that he did, but they were hidden and they would have to find them. The real reason was because Daddy was still asleep, which NEVER happens, but he, like always, had worked alot! So I told them that as soon as Daddy woke up he would help them find them, so do you want to take a guess on how long it took them to wake Daddy up?

Then Nana showed up and delivered the baskets for the boys that the Easter Bunny left at Nana and Papaw's house....and they try to say they don't spoil the boys..lol! So of course they had Daddy put together the train track!

Then Daddy made us breakfast, like usual! Then we dyed eggs! The boys really enjoyed it this year. Hayden got so excited that he knocked over the green dye cup and it spilled all over my leg and foot, so my leg, foot and toes where a lovely shade of green till it wore off!!!! One of those many rewards of being a Momma!

Here are a few that the boys colored, they haven't finished them yet!

After we finished the eggs, we decided to be lazy until Easter dinner was ready at Nana's, so Hayden took his nap, Riley and I laid on the couch and watched Sprout and Daddy got called out to work :(. Then it was time to go eat!!!! So we loaded up all the goodies I made, the baskets and eggs and Hayden had to take his 4-wheeler back over. I love holiday's at Mom and Dad's because we get to spend time with everybody, this year there was Luther, Angie, Tyler, Becca, Me, Craig, Riley, Hayden, Adrienne, Sonya, Roy, Heather, Jared, Preston, Brandy, Cory and Skyler! (I hope I didn't leave anybody out). After we filled out tummies so laid around and watched the UT men's basketball game, which had me on the edge of my seat! Thanks gosh they won!

Miss Skyler love to pose for me!!

Preston just thought since he was asleep he wouldn't get bothered, but he was wrong!
As most of my family know, you can't hide from me and my camera.

Of course he couldn't hide from Skyler either! I just love this pic!

So once I was done harassing the kids with my camera, we hid eggs! Well for some reason the boys wasn't very interested in playing. It was really cold out so that

Sorry I still haven't done the boys Spring pictures yet. We were waiting on nice weather, then Riley had an accident last Thursday that we are still trying to heal up from. He was outside riding his tricycle and was coming from my sisters house down the driveway to our house and flipped his tricycle 3 times. By the way, if you have never been to our house, he have an extremely steep driveway. So he had a major head laceration on his forehead and extreme road rash on his whole right side, even on his poor little face. We thought that he had broken his arm or some ribs but he didn't, he was just really really sore. Sorry I couldn't bring myself to take a picture of my poor baby in that kind of condition.

Boden's 1st B-day Gathering

This past Sunday, Lindsay and Brian invited us out to her grandmother farm to celebrate Boden's 1st birthday! Of course when I told the boys it was a party and they would have cake, they were all about it. Then when I added the fact that it was on the farm, they talked about it for days! Thank you Lindsay for letting us share in your family's memorable day. I took pics of the party so that Lindsay could enjoy it!

Here is Boden's cake, with Daddy's artisic ability he added the "blue tractor" to help pull the "green tractor" out! By the way, since the party Riley wants a birthday cake that has a tractor stuck and another tractor pulling it out. Brian be prepared to design another cool tractor cake in June!

After the cake and the presents, we took the boys to see the cows! The pics will tell the rest of the story!

This is what Riley said "Mo޲mma޲, I mus޲t not޲ be abl޲e to tal޲k Cow޲ tal޲k".޲...޲..h޲e sai޲d tha޲t sin޲ce the޲y wou޲ld run޲ fro޲m him޲...lol

My love, my life, my world...my boys!
