Am I just asking for a broken bone or what????????????

For Riley's birthday we bought a trampoline, yes I have heard all the bad stories. So far, no injuries, so what do we do......yeap that's right.....we bought the boys a MOTORCYCLE!!!! Why not, right? Craig always says, "We're raising boys around here". Hayden has talked about a motorcycle for almost a year now. Of course we have taken into consideration all the safety procedures, helmets, training wheels and throttle control. We surprised the boys and came home with it in the back of Craig's truck, they were totally shocked!!!! They just couldn't wait to hop on. So Craig rode them up and down Mom and Dad's driveway till he could get the training wheels put on. Yes, Craig can ride this thing, he looks really funny, but it flys!





But this is what happens when you crash a motorcycle only wearing your underwear!!!! It got that excited! All I can say is that I am glad that I have a lot of nurse friends at Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic!

Hayden's First Day of Preschool

Hayden always wants to do what Riley does, so of course, he wanted to go to school too. Hayden was accepted into the His Kids program at Morrison Hill Christian Church. Riley attended last year and we LOVE it. Hayden was very comfortable with his surrounding so I wasn't as concerned when I left him. He turned to me and said "Bye I love you Momma, see you later" and turned around like it was nothing. As soon as I sat down in the van, I lost it. That is when it all hit me, both my babies are in school. Neither one of them looked back when I dropped them off. They are getting so big. On to the point, Hayden loved school and has talked about it since I picked him up. Well, Riley and Hayden both passed out within 5 minutes of me picking them up. They were wore out, plus they don't like getting up at 6:45, neither do I!

Riley's First Day of Kindergarten!

Well, I have been excited, nervous and an emotional basket case over this day! Yes, I am one of those Mom's doesn't want this day to come, but on the other hand I couldn't wait for him to start his school years. He did great and has done nothing but talk about school starting. I actually made it without shedding one tear!!!!! Riley has Ms. Burgess, which was thrilled to hear, and he loves her! So here are some snapshots of his morning!

We celebrated one of Craig's closest friends bdays last night! Craig and I had a blast catching up with some good friends that we haven't seen in forever. We meet for a great dinner at Soho in Bearden and then went to Sidestreet Tavern. Abby you did a wonderful job of planning this surprise party!

Happy Birthday Andi!

Last night, we celebrated one of our really good friend, Andi's, birthday. Of course, we had to eat at my favorite, and his too, Wasabi's. The group was so big that we had to have two table, thank goodness we got the greatest Chef, honestly EVER! Then we finished the night up at Wild Wings. Times like this is when we all realize how many great friends we have!

Happy 12th B-day Becca!

Becca's birthday is actually 4th of July, which we missed this year because we were laying on the beach, but hey we thought about her...LOL! So this afternoon we got together and had cake and ice cream at Mom's! The great and talented Carly made her awesome bday cake! I can't believe that she is already 1, but acts and thinks she is 30!




Somehow, this always happens with a family birthday party!

We just returned from another great get-a-way to Charleston, which is one of my favorite places! The boys both are major water doggies! Hayden loved the water and sand this year, well maybe he just likes the sand, it still gets on his nerves. We spent everyday on the beach and best of all we watch the fireworks over the ocean....it was beautiful!

Riley's 5th B-day Party!

So today we celebrated Riley's birthday and Father's Day with one big party. We started around 3 and wrapped up about midnight! When the boys first arrived they were surprise with Riley's present...the trampoline! Needless to say, they were surprised. I know that we had a day full of fun with all the water toys, trampoline and lots of adult fun. Riley received LOTS of cool present! I want to thank everybody who came out and made Riley's day so special.

Happy 5th Birthday Riley!

Well can you believe it because I can't but 5 years ago today, my life changed, in ways that words would can never describe. I have always wanted kids but once I was pregnant, it made me feels those special feelings. Everytime I would feel him roll or kick, which he done ALL the time. It made my heart grow deeper with love, then he was born. Like I said, we experience feeling and a love we could have never imagine or forget. Before I knew it he was crawling, then walking and now getting prepared to start Kindergarten! These short 5 years seem like it only has been a year at the max. Ok, before I make myself cry even more....look at how much he has changed!
